A long time collector of antique, vintage, and retro treasures, I found myself in a position to buy Falls Antiques & Collectibles in September 2009 from the previous owner, who was retiring.  In April 2011, I changed the name to SUBURBAN RETRO since my tastes in vintage are 1950's, '40's and '30's (with the occasional items from other decades).  My philosophy, in words from a 1996 Shabby Chic book, "Comfort, the beauty of imperfections, the allure of time-worn objects...." 

Whether you're feathering your first nest or a vacation nest,  or re-feathering an empty nest, Falls Antiques has feathers for every budget and and taste!

CHANGES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 4, 2012

The Queen of Everything will be re-entering the 9-5 world of employment resulting in some changes at the shop.  My niece, Jodi (aka Princess of Everything), will be piloting the Suburban Retro ship Tuesday thru Friday 12-5 p.m., I will be in on Saturdays 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., and the shop will be closed on Sunday AND Monday.

 Jodi is not authorized to do any buying from walk-ins at this time.  If you are interested in selling individual items/lots, please come in on Saturdays to see me.
